Abstract: T he im provement of w ater and soil conservat ion needs t he complex science demonstration plots in a new
era. A ccording to t his, t he water resource agency of Y anqing Count y, Beijing Cit y plans to develop a synt hetic
demonst rat ion area of water and soil conservat ion based on the old one. T he new synt hetic demonst rat ion area in-
cludes t wo domains: a w at er and so il conservat ion complex lab and w ater and eig ht soil conservat ion demonstration
plot s. T hey w ill explode scientific principles and t echnology such as rainf all monitoring , w at er saving, ecology
restorat ion , use of ecology energy and so on .
