Simulation re鄄 sults show that the maximum utilization of allocated GTS and minimal packet medium access delay are a鄄 chieved inlow SOvalueandSIFSforapplicationswithhighdataarrivalrate. However,itisnotsuitablefor time-sensitive wireless sensor networks,for this mechanism could neither achieve the maximum utilization of allocated GTS,nor decrease the packet medium access delay for high SO value and LIFS.
