Abs tract: Th is paper stud ies the ord inary commod ity high-rises in Guiyang, under the hypothesis that
house price is determ ined y locations. A fter exam ining the normal distri ution and spatial autocorrela-
tion of the samp le data, this research uses the ordinary Kriging method, a countermap of house prices
draw n y A rcG IS9. 2 to show the spatial variation of ord inary commod ity house price of Guiyang. The
research ind icates that the spatial d istri ution of house price is not alanced. The central area is h igh,
the price in the east is higher than that of thew est, w hile the price in the south is low er than that in the
w orth, The price counter decreased y the peak value area to all sides, w hich decrease inconsistently
from the center. The decline rate of city center is quicker than periphery, wh ich indicates variations.
