1, overview
The steering gear first appeared in the model airplane movement. In the aviation model, the flying attitude of the flying machine is achieved by adjusting the engine and each control rudder surface. For a simple four - way aircraft, there are several places on the plane that need to be controlled:
1) the intake of an engine to control the pull (or thrust) of the engine;
2) aileron rudder (mounted on the back of the wing of an aircraft) is used to control the roll motion of the aircraft;
3) the horizontal rudder surface is used to control the pitching angle of the aircraft;
4) the vertical tail rudder surface is used to control the yaw angle of the aircraft;
Not only in the model aircraft, but also in other model movements can see its application: ship model used to control the tail rudder, car models used to turn, and so on. Thus, all operations need to be operated by the steering wheel to achieve.
2, structure and control
Generally speaking, the steering gear is mainly composed of the following parts: rudder plate, reduction gear set, position feedback potentiometer, 5K, DC motor, control circuit board, etc..
The working principle: the control circuit board receives the control signal from the signal line, controls the motor rotation, the motor drives a series of gear sets, and then moves back to the output steering disc. The steering gear of the output shaft and position feedback potentiometer is connected with the steering wheel rotation and drive position feedback potentiometer potentiometer will output a voltage signal to the control circuit, feedback control circuit board, and then decide according to the location of the motor rotation direction and speed, so as to achieve the goal of stopping.
