Blwr Wernadskoho 63, off.71, 03142, Kyiv UKRAINE nikobasko@ , www.itl.kiev.ua Abstract:-Inthepaperprocessofquenchingsemiaxlesinthewaterflowisconsidering.Thetwoapproachesare analysed.ThetraditionalapproachforthepartsthermalstateanalysisunderquenchingisbasedontheNewton’s sortboundaryconditionbetweenthesolidwallofthepartsandfluidsurroundingit.Inthesecondapproachthe problem solves as a conjugate heat transfer problems (NavieStocks equations full set solving) with CFD (ComputationFluidDynamics)computertechnology,whenitisdonotneedtoknowtheheattransfercoefficients atthesurfaceofthepart.Bothapproachesandresultsofcalculationswerecomparedandinthiswayitwasshown thatgeneralizedcorrelationcanbeusedforcoolingtimecalculation.Resultsofcalculationscoinsideverywell.It means that generalized equation is
