增强英语语句的有效方法 　　纵观多年来国家四、六级英语作文考试，考生作文成绩欠佳的主要原因除了准确性和连贯性差之外，语句软弱无力也是不容忽略的一个方面。因此在英语写作教学中，如何增强语句表现力的问题必须引起我们足够的重视，以提高学生写作的表达质量。为此，笔者结合自己的写作教学实践，针对该项技能的训练提出了一些切实可行的有效做法，供广大同仁和英语学习者参考借鉴。 　　一、避免使用语意弱的be动词。 　　1、把句中的表语转换为不同的修饰语。例如： 　　ea: the trees are bare the grass is brn the landsape sees drab 　　revisin:the brn grass and bare trees fr a drab landsape (转换为前置定语) 　　r: the landsape, bare and brn, begged fr spring green (转换为并列结构作后置定语) 　　2、将作表语用的形容词或名词变为行为动词。例如： 　　1) ea: the tea ebers are gd plaers 　　revisin: the tea ebers pla ell 　　2) ea: ne rer’s plan is the eliinatin f tardiness 　　revisin: ne rer’s plan eliinates tardiness 　　3、在以here或there开头的句子中，把be动词后的名词代词变成改写句的主语。例如： 　　1) ea: there is n pprtunit fr prtin 　　revisin: n pprtunit fr prtin exists 　　2) ea: here are the bs u rdered 　　revisin: the bs u rdered have arrived 　　二、多用语意具体的动词，保持句意简洁明了。例如： 　　1、pr: supervisr ent past des 　　better: supervisr sauntered (=aled sll) past des 　　2、pr: she is a areful shpper 　　better: she pares pries and qualit 　　三、尽量运用主动语态。例如： 　　1、ea: the rganizatin has been supprted b harit 　　better: harit has supprted the rganizatin 　　2、ea: the bisuits ere staed n a plate 　　better: ther staed the bisuits n a plate 　　四、防止使用语意冗长累赘的词语。例如： 　　1、rd: little sister has a preferene fr hlate il 　　iprved: little sister prefers hlate il 　　2、rd: e are in reeipt f ur letter and intend t fll ur reendatins 　　iprved: e have reeived ur letter and intended t fll ur reendatin 　　3、redundant: e had a serius risis at shl esterda hen ur heistr labratr aught fire 　　iprved: e had a risis at shl esterda hen ur heistr labratr aught fire 　　4、redundant: sister and i bught the sae, idential dress in different stres 　　iprved: sister and i bught the sae dress in different stres 　　五、杜绝滥用陈旧词语或难懂的专业术语。例如： 　　1、ea: the ill nt agree t his prpsals in an shape r fr 　　iprved: the ill nt agree t an f his prpsals 　　2、ea: i need her finanial input befre i an guesstiate ur expenditures next fall 　　iprved: i need her finanial figures befre i an est
