２０１６４（） Apr．２０１６４３２ Vol．４３ No．２ doi :１０ .３９６９/j .issn .１００１‐２４００ .２０１６ .０２ .０１４，，（，７１００７１）：，，，，，；、，、、、，．，０.５dB，；，、、．．：；；；；＋：TN９６７．１；V２４９.３２４：A ：１００１‐２４００（２０１６）０２‐００７７‐０６ Experiment on reproducing the continuous blackout of the GPS system GA O P ing , L I X iaop ing , X I E K ai (Schoolof AerospaceScience Technology ,Xidian Univ .,Xian ７１００７１ ,China) Abstract : The plasmainducedin the reentry can degrade the electromagnetic system ,even producing the blackout whenit is serious .Then the attenuation of the GPS signal by the plasma is calculated and the ower thresholdof the received signal is analyzed .An experiment on the continuous acquisition blackout p ‐ ‐ reacquisition rocessof GPSsystem issuccessfully reproducedby plasmainanordinary lab .Theplasmais p excited by a low ressure glow discharge and it is a long lasting ,large scale ,non magnetic plasma .The ‐p ‐ ‐ ‐ plasma density can be easily controlled by RF power ,achieving an arbitrary variation of plasma density . Comparing thecriticalattentionwith thestandardpower thresholdof thereceiver ,resultsindicatethatboth thevalues arealmost the same and that their differences are less than ０.５ dB .The blackout occurs as the attenuationis greater than the threshold .The experiment is valuable for the research on other navigation systemsblackout and thedesignof reentry receivers .
