T he curved box g irder is regarded as a space structure consisting of beam s and she lls respect ively, and m odeled by d iscrete 3- D straight beam s, shell elem ents and solid elem ents. The vibration properties and earthquake t mi e histo ry responses of the curved box g irder are analyzed and com puted on the basis o f these m ode ls, and the resu lts are com pared w ith that o f the dualbeam stick m ode l to va lidate the reliab ility of this m odel.
