In the past 25 years, NTCH have ever brought to vast audience in Taiwan, quite many renowned musicians from different countries all over the world including the combination of soloists and ensembles. Among them, the group with trumpeter and string ensemble is rarely seen as tonight’s concert. Alison Balsom, being praised as the “Queen” trumpeter in musical history, will demonstrate her unique technique and profound musical interpretation through her performance tonight. e program will include many pieces of Baroque music which she has particularly specialized through years of research and study. In addition, a special piece dedicated to her by English composer, James MacMillan -Seraph will be debut in Taiwan. We totally agree what Balsom said that the combination of trumpet and string ensemble can be the highest aesthetics in musical logics. us, you will experience the most enjoyable concert tonight.
