摘 要 : 从明代中期起 , 越来越多的徽商进入浙北杭州 、嘉兴 、湖州三府市镇 , 开展多种形式的经营活
动 , 尤以在丝织 、米粮 、木材 、盐 、典当等行业最为活跃 。徽商不仅在促进当地市镇经济繁荣和社会发
展方面起了很大的作用 , 而且对提升市镇品味 , 提高市镇的知名度 、美誉度 , 也产生了积极的影响 。

Abstract :From t he middle of t he Ming Dynasty , more and more Huizhou merchant s came to Hangzhou , J iaxing
and Huzhou in Zhejiang doing businessen and esp ecially prosp erous in such businesses as rice , wood , salt and
p awnbroking . They contributed much not only to t he economical prosp erity and social develop ment but also to t he
promotion of t he cultural taste and fame t here .
