ABSTRACT Objective TO investigate the effects of acupuncture and moxibustion on the synaptophy of neuralgia . -endorphine in chronic constriction of sciatic nerve .So we can conclude some mechanism of experimental. Methods In experiment we successed to copy the classical animal model Of chronic constriction in of sciatic nerve rat thirty-two wistar rats Were divided into four groups by the Excel function A normal control group a model group, a control group of Moxibustion And a treatment group of acupoint ther. These rats were treated by moxibustion on Huantiao (GB30) .The treatment was once dily and lasted for 20days,besides 2 days having a rest. By observing behavior in the general neuralgia, pain threshold thermal stimulation, electrical stimulation pain threshold changes, light microscopic observation sciatic nerve organizational structure change of plasma -endorphin ( -EP) in the evaluation of the CCI rats Moxibustion treatment effect. Result Model rats apparent reaction neuralgia by a course of treatment, moxibustion group the rats thermal stimulation of acupuncture hyp- eralgesia value decreased, compared with the model group with a sig -nificant statistical difference (P 0.05). Acupuncture and moxibustion group compared hyperalgesia absolute scores decreased, but the difference is not statistically significant (P0.05). After a course of treatment moxibustion group, the rats electrical stimulation of acupuncture hyp- eralgesia value decreased with the model rats hyperalgesia comparison the changes were statistically significant differences (P 0.05) .After two courses of acupuncture and moxibustion group of hyperalgesia group compared with no statistical difference (P 0.05), moxibustion group compared with the model group is very significant statistical difference (P 0.01).afer 22 days, the value of -endorphine o
