一、教材分析
本课是北师大版《初中英语》七年级下册教材第三单元Unit 3 Food and Drink,话题为购物、食物、点餐、饮食习惯。其中Lesson 7 Shopping for Food 的话题为购物。
第一课时的内容包括区分三国货币及重量的表达方式,获取货币及重量的信息以及了解不同国家货币及重量单位是不一样的。
二、学情分析
本单元以购物、食物和外出点餐为话题,涉及到的词汇和表达方式都与学生的实际生活密切相关,能够激发和调动学生对于这个单元学习内容的兴趣和热情。
三、教学目标
在本节课结束时,学生能够:
1.正确使用how many和how much询问食物的价格和重量。
2.能够区分食物名词的可数和不可数。
3.能够用目标语言进行购物问答。
四、教学重点和难点

Step 1 Lead-in
Ask the Ss what they have learned last class.
Review how to ask and answer prices and how many.

Step 2 Review the words
Ask the Ss to finish Exercise 5 by themselves, then check in pairs.
Do Exercise 5.

Step 3
How to give and get back money.
Ask the Ss how to give and get back the money when they go shopping. Think how to give and get back the money when they go shopping.
设计意图:Be ready for the pair-work.
Step 4 Review how much how many
Ask Ss to finish Exercise 7, then check in pairs and say the reasons. Do Exercise7 and check.

Step 5 Distinguish from countable nouns to uncountable ones.
Ask Ss to finish Exercise 8, then check in pairs and say the reasons. Do Exercise7 and check.

Step 6 Drill the target language.
Ask Ss to fill in the blanks of their tables.
Let Ss make a dialogue using the example.
Have Ss make dialogue without the example.
Ask some pairs to show their dialogues.
Show their dialogues.
Fill in the blanks and try to make a dialogue of shopping.

1. Ask Ss to think about what they have learned in this lesson.
2.Finish Exercise 2 4 on page 88 of your English Book
