It is also an important tool for understanding urban space change and scientific management and planning about urban system. And it can provide feasible technical support for urban policy execution and the formulation and evaluation of urban planning. This paper mainly introduces a urban mirco-simulation system of large scale-UrbanSim. The system not only takes advantage of unit and modeling technology, but also includes large amounts of data methods and principles of economics, which are worth of learning. This paper mainly describes the model design, model composition and key modeling methods, and summarizes the characteristics and advantages of this model.
