Readers can read a lot of text from pictures, without telling or involving the content and plot. In the picture, text and chart is also about, and the about the story text is more intuitive, more vivid picture in the picture; and not a separate picture, but a coherent picture, they together tells a story. The illustrations of ordinary books do not emphasize the cohesion and narration of pictures. Continuity and narrative are therefore the characteristics of picture books. Key words: picture books; illustrations; coherence; narrative The dictionarys interpretation of illustrations is: illustrations, also known as illustrations, are pictures attached to books and periodicals that complement the content of the text or increase the appeal of words. It is clear that the traditional sense of the illustrations often just text representation, text description through picture forms, create graphics, text with visual sense, so as to enrich the text in the image in the mind of the reader.
