Correspondent: PENG Wu-liang, E-mail: peng-wuliang @ 163.com) Abstract: Extending a conventional DTCTP ( discrete time-cost trade-off problem) model by introducing the constraint on renewable resources, a new mult-i mode resource-constrained DTCT P or MRC-DTCT P model is presented, where therenewable resources are corresponding to project costs by presetting proper resource price and all activities can be executed in a crash mode so as to shorten the time limit originally planned for the project. A branch and bound (B B) algorithm for solving MRC-DT CTP model is developed and applied to computing the deadline for theproject. According to the computation results, an entire time-cost trade-off curve is plotted and the advantages of the MRC-DTCTP model are discussed.
