Abst ract : With 2, 2 _a obisisobutyronitrile as initiator and N_1_naphthylmaleimide/ styrene as raw mate
rials, styrene/ N_1_naphthylmaleimide copolymer was synthesi ed by solution synthesis. The effects of
materials ratio, solvents, initiators, and reaction time on the ol meri ation were studied. The

structure and ro erties of the roducts were characteri ed b FT_IR and thermo ravimetr (TG) . The
