Method A anonymous quest ionaire was used in a total of: 448 college students. he informat ion w as collected concerning their alcohol drinking status motive and relat ed factors Result s, . : 92. 92% of t he male and 86. 82% of t he female students were alcohol drinkers. here w ere highly significant differences in alcohol drinking pattern, situat ion and types of alcohol beverage they drank betw een males and females ( P 0.001) . he m otive and psychology of the first alcohol drinking w ere chiefly the curiosity, the family agreed to them and the friends advised. he life pressure friends drink and ment al factors w ere main, influnce factors of alcohol drinking patt ern. Conclusion At present the alcohol drinking incidence was high in college: , students. he alcohol drinking pattern w as mainly affect by peer-related fact ors, psychological factors and environmental factors. herefore, we should take int ervene measures.
