UNIT 3 School Life Lesson 16 We Are with You 教案 教学目标 1.Knowledge Section: (1)Master the following words:terrible, happen, lost, fire, raise (2)Common phrases:come up with, car wash, cookie sale, 2.Skill Section Continue to build up the ability in listening, speaking, reading, writing and translating, especially enable the students to make sentences in English about how to help others. 3.Affect Section Get students to know what they should do if their friends meet problems. 教学重点 Vocabulary and patterns in this lesson 教学难点 Express their thoughts about helping others. 教学用具 PPT 教学内容 Step I Class Opening Greet the students and have a free talk with them. Step II Review Show some exercises on the PPT and then check the answers. Check homework. Step III New Concepts 1. New words Read and repeat, make sure everyone can read the new words. 2.Learning aims Let students know about the aims 3.Lead-in Free talk: Say: Work in groups. Imagine you work for a company that helps poor children. What will you do for them? How will you help them? Discuss with your classmates and make a plan. Presents some ideas to help students make plans. 4. Future study of the text. Ask the students to read the lesson, then answer the questions in exercise 1 on page 41.They can talk about the questions in groups. Ask the students to find the phrases on PPT. 5. Language points Explain the language points. (1). something terrible 可怕的事情。 当形容词修饰不定代词时放在不定代词的后边。 e.g: There is nothing interesting in today’s newspaper. (2)Jason, don’t be afraid.这是一个祈使句。afraid是形容词,所以前面需要有动词原形be.此外,如果是名词,同样需要把be放在名词前。 e.g:Be nice to other people. (3). come up with 想出(主意,计划等) e.g: He came up with a good idea. (4). raise 筹集, 饲养,提高,抬起 e.g: They raised much money for the poor people. e.g: His grandma raises five chicken. e.g: There is too much noise. He has to raise his voice. e.g: Please raise your hand if you have any question. Step IV Practice Ask students to do Part 2 and Part 3 in the text book. Hom
