In order to avoid the fish-eye phenomenon, all of the testing images must be projected on a columniform plane. We adopt the projection classification algorithm to get the characteristics of the columniform images and use a shifting vote technology to find the range of overlap from two successional testing images. Finally, the panoramic image can be accurately merged. In our experiments, it can improve the drawback of the software of COOL 360 must use manpower to adjust the area of overlap. The visional effect of the panoramic image by the proposed technology is better than the conventional method.
