For thousands of years, not only have Chinese literati adored it, but also the literati in Goryeo or Joseon Dynasty had deep desires and longings for it. As a result, it is quite easy to find that there are a large number of Korean ancient literature works which were written to extol gangman of China or were made in the background of it. It is a fairly unique phenomenon of culture. This study focuses on several representative Korean ancient works, such as Chinese poem, novel and travelogue. The connotation and value system of Chinas gangnam culture in Korean ancient literature are studied here as well.
