Niosomes have been prepared from Span20, Span80, Tween20 and Tween80. Fluorescence resonance energy transfer studies have been performed in these systems to determine donor–acceptor distances. It has been found that the fluorescence resonance energy transfer efficiency is better in niosomes compared to micelles.
