"Yuu(优)" is dated back to ancient china.We all know that the opera actors in the operatic circle(梨园) were called "优伶" . Period(3):1990s THE BOOM of female seiyuus. Many animated production about seiyuu had an access to market. The start of seiyuu idolization(声优偶像化). Seiyuus' appearance became more and more important.
