Unit 2 Speaking of Men and Women… Objectives: By the end of the unit, students will be better able to master the new words and phrases; have an idea of the structure of biographic writings; practice writing a paragraph that starts with a main event and goes on to describe what led up to it; get to know the makings of outstanding characters. Prerequisites: Students should read Text A for the main idea before they come to the class sessions.
