浅析广告英语翻译中的文化因素
1. Purpose:
Combining with advertisement translation practices thispaper intendsto explore how
the cultural differences influence advertisement function, to discuss the cultural
differences in the advertisments, and puts forward the artistic and effective methods
ofadvertisingtranslation.
Significance:
Advertisement has becoming an important source of information in daily life as well
asan essentialmeanstopublicizeandmarket productsand services.Astheproduct of
culture, advertisement directly reflects the close relationship between language and
culture. And advertising language is a special art form, which has profound cultural
background and can be influenced by the tendency of the times. Cultural differences
determine that it would be far from easy for Ad to reach its function for the world
market. The cultural connotation reflected in translation must win receptors’
acceptance.
