1. He said, “I am good at swimming.” 2. He asked me, “ Do you often go to school on foot?” 3. He asked me, “When will you come back?” ： 二、宾语从句的连接词 1．连词that，只起连接作用，在从句中不作句子成分，也无词汇意义，在口语中常被省略。 eg. I know (that) you are arriving next Sunday. 2．连词if 、whether 作“是否”解，在从句中不作句子成分，在口语中多用if。 eg. ①She asked me if/whether she could copy my homework. ②He asked me whether or not I was coming. 只能用whether不用if 的三种情况 一般情况下，if 和whether可以互换，但以下3种情况只能用whether： ①与or not连用： He asked me whether or not I was coming. ②在介词之后： It depends on whether it is going to rain. ③在不定式之前： We haven’t decided whether to go there. 3．连接代词who, whom, whose, what, which，连接副词when, where, why, how等 它们起连接作用，并在从句中充当一定的句子成分，各有自己的意义。 eg. Yesterday, we asked some students what they did last weekend. Can you tell us where he lives? Please go and find out when the bus will arrive. Can you tell me how I can get to the train station? 四、宾语从句的时态 宾语从句中谓语动词的时态，常常受到主句谓语时态的制约，此为时态呼应。 1. 如果主句的时态是一般现在时，宾语从句的时态根据具体情况来确定，可以是任何时态。 I don’t think (that) you are right.Please tell us where we’ll go fishing tomorrow.
