The owner can’t be a boy. -- Well, it could be a boy. The earrings might be a present for his mother. 能力目标 1. Train students’ reading and writing skills . 2. Train students’ communicative competence using the target language. 情感目标 If you want to get a good mark, you should work hard and get ready for your test. 【重点难点】 重点:能熟练掌握本课时的词汇及句型。 难点:准确的运用。I. 复习热身 1. Check. 检查生词预习情况,找个别学生领读单词,特别注意长词symphony, optometrist, appointment, anxious and Oxford University的读音。 2. Dictation. 找两名学生听写单词与短语。其他学生以小组为单位更正。 3. Revise the usage of the words “must, may, might, can, could and can’t ”by checking homework. Ask students to exchange their exercises books and help correct any errors with each other, As they are doing this, move around the classroom offering language support as needed. Then invite different students to say their sentences to the class. Ⅱ. 阅读训练 3a 1.速读 (1) Call students to pay attention to the picture. Ask students to tell what’s happening in the picture. (2) Point to the parts of the e-mail message.Tell students that this is the message the girl in the picture writes. Say, Right now the parts are in the wrong order. When they are in the right order, they will make a clear message. Now please read the parts quickly and number them in order. When you are doing this, you will meet with some words you don’t know. Don’t worry too much about them. Just circle them. We’ll talk about what they mean later. Get students to complete the task individ
