Test purpose
Proficiency test/ elementary reading ability
The reading test is an achievement test designed to assess students抪rogress on the reading course at the end of the term. The reading test examines the candidates comprehensive ability of using the language knowledge,It includes the reading ability, understanding ability, generalization ability, logical reasoning ability and the material capacity assessment.To test whether the students of the school knowledge can be used to practice.

Theoretical Construct:
To test students抋bility to process verbal or non-verbal information ,in reading texts as required in the teaching syllabus. Elementary reading mainly inspects the range of micro skills,grammatical and lexical knowledge .
