Step 1 Warming up Self-introduction
T: I’m your new English teacher today. My name is Mandy. My favorite season is summer because I can have a long holiday in the summer vocation. I can go swimming. Do you like summer vocation? Why?
My hobbies are going swimming, seeing films and I like singing. How about you? (课件打出学生的Name________ Favourite season/ colour/ food…_______ Hobbies_________)
T: You can discuss in pairs.
Ss: (可能会说:I like…) T: Are you going to …this weekend? …? Do you usually…?S: Yes, /No (2~3人)
Step 2 Presentation and practice
T: (接着学生的话说)Summer is coming. I have a good news for you. We’ll have a “Colorful Holiday” summer camping on the 3rd of July and the 4th of July in our school. Would you like to take part in it?
S: Yes.
T: What are you going to do in this camping? About Art, PE and leisure(休闲)。OK, you can discuss in groups : What are we going to do? (板书,带读)
