Show some pictures and do ask and answer. T: What’s wrong with you? S1: I have a backache. T: What’s wrong with her ? S2: She has a cold. Step 2 Presentation 1. Show the names of illness, learn them. 2. Listen and number the pictures. Then ask and answer with your partner in ppt. 3. Listen to 1a and choose the correct answers in 1b. Check answers and finish 1b. 4.Watch the flash and read 1a. Step 3 Consolidation Read 1a after the tape. Then practice 1a in pairs. Read 1a again and find out the key points in groups. 3. Go through 1a and the teacher explains the key points in 1a. Step 4 Practice Work in pairs, Talk about what the illness and suggestions and try to use “should and shouldn’t”. Listen to the conversations and number the pictures in 1c. Listen again and then write down the advice, using should/shouldn’t. Check the answers then finish 1c. Do some exercises in ppt. Step 5 Summary 1.I have a headache. You should have a good rest. 2.I have a cold. You should go to see a doctor. 3. I have a toothache. You shouldn’t eat too much candy.
