Sins and Sinners 　The Bible portrays sin as not following Gods moral guidance, based on the account of Adam and Eve in the Book of Genesis. They disobeyed God by eating the fruit of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil）, which gave them the ability to judge and know good from evil for themselves.
