Hydraulic sliding watertight door 14 1 TESTS OF ANCHOR EQUIPMENT AND WINDLASS 1.1 Check the installation correctness and integrality of windlass, hydraulic power pack, anchor chain, anchor and chain stopper etc. Check the certificates of windlass, anchor chain and other anchor products before installation. 1.2 Check the hydraulic piling’s installation and cleaning before testing. And make sure the cable’s connection is correct. 1.3 All electric equipments will be checking their insulations before and after testing. 1.4 The hydraulic pump running for 5 min without load. Then check the working condition of every alarm point and the working pressure of relief valve and overflow valve. 1.5 Run the hydraulic windlass without any load for totally 60min of ahead and astern at full speed continuously. Vary once in every 3~4 minutes of ahead and astern. Mooring drum and head drum each clutch once. The valves of hydraulic motor, hydraulic pump and hydraulic oil system should run normally in the process of the test. The whole system and every moving part should have no phenomena of oil spill, unwonted radiation and beating. Measure and record the oil pumps working pressure, the speed of oil pump and oil motor, and the temperature of the bearings. Measure and record the electric motor start current, working current, voltage, insulation resistance and rev. 1.6 Throw the anchors separately. Brake 2~3 times with braking device at the same time, then hoist the anchors. The follow contents to be check at this moment: (1) Check the convenience of clutch and the dependability of the braking device.
