It is known by different names -- sepak raga, sipa, takraw, ching loong or kator. An enduring pastime, it combines the teamwork of volleyball, the dexterity of football and the fine finish of badminton. The Sepak Takraw BallThe Sepaktakraw ball is shaped as a sphere having 12 holes with 20 intersections. It is made of natural rattan or synthetic fiber. If it is made of rattan, the ball consists of 9-11 strains. Congkak Congkak is a game for two players using a board which has several ‘kampung’. The aim of the game is to gather as many shells into the ‘rumah’ on the players side. Normally, either cowrie shells, tamarind seeds and even marbles are used to play the game. Batu Seremban This game is played with five small triangular cloth bags filled with seeds, rice or sand. Two or more players can play. The aim is to score as many points as possible.
