This work is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution International License (CC BY). /licenses/by/4.0/ Abstract Separation anxiety of children is receiving more and more attention widely, and their behavior problems are studied deeply by scholars and experts, having achieved considerable results in theory and practice. This paper selected a child with separation anxiety as an example; by ob- serving his behavior in school and at home, and event sampling and time sampling observation, the reasons of his separation anxiety behavior were analyzed. Meanwhile, we analyzed and eva- luated the behavioral intervention strategies, so as to provide references for the cure of children with separation anxiety.
