Abstract: The speciations of the heavy m etals ( Cu, Cd, Cr, Pb and Zn) in paddy soils under the rice-wheat rotation cultivation in Chengdu Plainwere determ inedw ith the chem ical fractionation m ethod. The contents of heavym etals in seeds of both rice andwheat grown in these soils at the same sampling sitesw ere also determ ined to estmi ate the bioavailab ility of these heavym etal fractions.
