Introduction Leizhou Peninsula, crossing east longitude 109°44 - 110°23 and north latitude 20°26 - 21°11 (Mi Pang on the Web), lies in the southwest edge of China. It is an ancient country, which is qualified as national-class historical and cultural and can be traced back to four or five thousand years ago It is dubbed “a place of strategic importance in southern China” (Jia on the Web). There are a lot of historical heritages in Leizhou that bear the witness of times, such as the Zhenwu Hall, the Shaoshan Ancient Theatrical Stage, and the Tang Dynasty Tombs(Holiness pig on the Web), all of which are counted as very important and valuable cultural relics. However, a kind of stone sculptures can only be found in Leizhou Peninsula.
