Instruction for 45 m3 diesel oil tank Preface Diesel tank is mainly used in diesel oil storage and supply for diesel engine on electric-driven drilling rig in oil field. It features in reasonable and compact structure, convenient operation and being adapted to many working conditions such as land, desert, and ocean. Working principle and construction 3.1. Working principle Diesel oil tank is mainly applied to diesel oil storage and supply for diesel engine on electric-driven drilling rig in oil field. After the drilling rig and oil tank are installed, diesel oil will be pumped from oil truck into oil tank by vertical pipe centrifugal pump. On the contrary, when the oil tank is transferred to another location with drilling rig, the diesel oil can also be pumped from diesel oil tank back into oil truck. There is level indicator fixed on diesel oil tank in order to know the oil storage inside. The technical process of oil pipeline is shown in attached drawing. 3.2. Construction of equipment The diesel oil tank system consists of vertical tank, pump station, and basement. It features in compact and centralized structure, being convenient for installation and operation, and being easy to service and maintenance. Vertical tank: On top of the tank, there are manhole, inhaling device, and platform. At back of the tank, there are ladder and fixed level indicator in order to know the oil level inside.
