Fishery Engineering Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Fishery Sciences, Beijing 100141, China) Abstract :Based on the analysis on natural condition and the numerical model test of wave, tidal current and sediment, taking the Shipu Port of Ningbo as an example, we discussed the hydrodynamic force and sediment problems in the construction of fishery port at multiple islands sea area, and studied the principle of the project layout. The results show that when constructing fishery ports at the sea area with multiple islands and strong flow velocity, we should use natural water depth to avoid the dredg- ing as far as possible in order to reduce the siltation, and make full use of the island shield to reduce the waves in engineering area.
