Abstract:Good and effectiverelationship between schooland parents isa determinantfactorforthe
excellenceofaschoo1.A qualityinvolvementfrom parentsintheschoolactivitiesisanimportantcomponentthat
couldgeneratetothatsuccess.Hence.thisstudyfocusesonteachers’perceptiononparents’involvementtowards
activitiesorganizedbytheschoo1.Thisresearchwasdesignedusingdescriptivetypeofsamplesurvey.Research
respondentsinclude274teachersexperiencedindealingwithparents,from sixprimaryschoolsinPasirGudang.
Researchinstrumentusedwasquestionnairesandinterview.TheresearchfindingswereanalyzingbyusingSPSS
l3.0toseekmeanvalueandstandarddeviation.Retrievaloftheresearchshowedthatparentalinvolvementlevel
intheactivityorganizedbytheschoolisatamoderatelevel(mean=3.65).Theresultachievedisthatfewparents
takepart activelyinprogramsorganizedby school,parentsandtheschoolseldom cooperateinperform ingthe
activitysuchas“gotong—royong’’toenliventheschool’slandscapeortoupgradetheschool’sinfrastructure.Based
onthisstudy,findingssuggestsomewaysto increaseparents’involvementin activitiesorganizedbyschoo1.
Activeinvolvementamongparentscangivelargegainstopupils’excellence.
