语法教学应该说是在公开课或研讨课中较少展示的一种课型,因为这种课不易操作,气氛通常比较沉闷,就像许多老师所说的“语法如鸡肋,食之无味,弃之不行”。因此,如何将语法知识传授与课堂活动的设计巧妙结合,如何将语法课上活、上出特色,如何在听说读写活动中呈现和学习语法结构,如何将教材提供的单薄的内容进行深度而有效的拓展和扩充,就成了老师们所关注的重心。今天有幸观摩了同行的一节精彩的语法示范课,值得我们思考和借鉴。下面是她的教学实录:(Teaching contents—SEFC Book 1A Unit 3 Period 3 “Language Study” )
Step1: Word study.
Match the words and phrases by playing “Guessing the words”
T: Good afternoon. I am very happy to have this chance to study English with you. Irsquo;m from Wuhan and it took me about 12 hours to get here. Can you guess by which means of transportation I got here? Listen and guess: itrsquo;s very long, it has many wheels, it travels fast, and inside there are a lot of seats for people to sit on. What is it?
Ss: Train.(学生齐声回答)
T: Good. This is an example of one word. I give you the explanation of one word, and you try to guess what the word is: Clear?
Ss: Yes.
T: Here are 3 groups, I will ask one student from each group to play this game. You represent your group. Here are 9 words you have learned in the text, I read the explanation of each word, you three just guess what the word is , see who will get it first , and which group will get the most words! If none of you can get it, I will ask other students to tell us. Of course, you canrsquo;t look at the screen, now , letrsquo;s start!
2. Make up a short story with given words.
T: Now you know the meaning of the words, letrsquo;s do like this: the first group , make 3 sentences with these 3 words , then connect them, and make them into a short story. The 2nd and the 3rd group do the same. Maybe your story is fantastic, it doesnrsquo;t matter. Make up the story with your imagination.
