AbstractAt present, voice value-added services (VVAS) are growing sharply, but lack specifications. This paper proposes an architecture for
voice value-added service platform (VVSP) based on the VoiceXML, which specifies the development and management interface of VVAS,
discusses the function and framework of voice value-added service execution platform (VSEP) and voice value-added service management platform
(VSMP), and illustrates several key flows used to implement the services on the architecture. VVSP is compared with current interactive voice
response (IVR) platform.
