This new wave, which takes on rapid development, deepening of cooperation, flexible mechanism and a wide range of content and forms between neighbouring countries, is unprecedented. This round of regional economic integration wave does not only reflect the phenomenon on in-depth development of economic globalization, but also reveal the new trend of development in twists and turns of a multipolar world. In this paper, in the normative analysis method, inductive analysis, and empirical analysis, on the basis of the theoretical results at home and abroad, combined with the new situation of the countries in regional economic cooperation and development in recent years, author first expound the formation of regional economic integration, the status quo and theory to explain the need to promote its development, and then put forward the main measures to promote the development of regional economic integr
