Learn some new words and phrases: as a matter of fact, discover, direct, possible, fair, invention, excite 2. Learn some useful sentences: (1)Oh, you will get used to it very soon if you come. (2)You must come for a visit. 3. Learn the present perfect tense with “for” or “since”: (1)You have been in New York for a long time. (2)The city has improved a lot since I came here a few years ago. 4. Master word formation: derivations. 5. Talk about changes in New York: (1)I heard the traffic there was terrible and almost everyone drove too fast. (2)As a matter of fact, it’s a wonderful place to live. Ⅱ.过程与方法: 多媒体课件呈现新单词和重难点句型,以图文结合的形式加深学生对新单词和重难点句型的理解和记忆。 Ⅲ. 情感态度与价值观: 引导学生学会描述假期生活,并能表达自己的想法和情感。 教材分析 1重点some new words and useful phrases; the present perfect tense with “for” or “since” 2难点the present perfect tense with “for” or “since” 3教法 listening, speaking and discussing 4教具 multimedia The main activities 1a Teaching procedure Step 1 Review 展示北京图片,师生对话,复习含有ever, never, just等词的现在完成时。并引出for和since的用法 (1.)---Have you_____ been to Beijing ? ---Yes, I have . I have _____ come back . ---No, I haven’t . I have _____ been there . (2. )---How long have you been in Beijing? ---I have been there there for two weeks. ---I have been there since last week. 出示一组关于北京过去与现在的图片,让学生根据图片内容在老师的引导下谈论北京的变化。引出部分短语,并导入新课 as a matter of fact = in fact Step 2 Presentation 听1a录音,训练学生在听力中获取关键信息的能力。并回答问题 What took place in New York? 然后呈现下列问题,引导学生初步理解1a How was New York’s traffic? Does it change now? Is New York a dangerous place now? Listen to 1a and tick what was mentioned about New York. Then finish 1b 播放录音,学生跟读一遍,同时找出含有for, since的句子,引导学生归纳其用法 for+时间段 时间点 since+ 从句 时间段+ago e.g. I have worked in the school for three years . =I have worked in the school since three
