Some perspective for further research 23 Works Cited 25 摘要 近年来,以网络媒体和手机媒体为代表的新媒体迅速发展,对报纸、广播和电视等传统媒体的生存与发展造成了极大冲击。在此背景下,本文回顾相关文献资料,通过对新媒体和传统媒体各自特点的分析及其优劣势对比研究,并结合美国媒体业发展现状,大胆预测美国媒体业的发展趋势将是新媒体与传统媒体优势互补,融合发展。 关键词:传统媒体;新媒体;网络媒体;特点;媒体融合 Abstract In recent years, new media, represented by online media and mobile media, witnessed a rapid development, and posed a great threat to traditional media’s survival and development. Under this background, this paper attempts to explore the characteristics of traditional media and new media and give a deep analysis of the present state of American mass media. Through the research, it can be predicted that media convergence will be an inevitable trend of American media industry.
