The pilot plant relates to research and development of in-line flocculation with thin lift drying as a fines management technology. The attached report provides an overview of the proposed project. Testing is scheduled to begin on or before July 15, 2010. Syncrude requests that results from the proposed field pilot project be subject to Section 15(2) of the Oil Sands Conservation Regulations and be held confidential for a three year period.
