Aims:
1. Words: star, circle, square, triangle, rectangle
2. Functions: a. Be able to read the words correctly.
b. Learn to use the words and say something with them
c. Let the students express their own opinions in English.
3. Language Focus: Be able to read and use the words correctly.
Materials:
1. Word cards
2. Some scrap cards
3. Microsoft Powerpoint script
Procedure Contents Methods Purpose I. Pre-task preparation 1. Warming up (Ss) 问答式的儿歌 通过念儿歌吸引学生的注意力,引起学生学习英语的兴趣。 II. While-task procedure: 1.star, yellow star, red star, stars (1) ( Show a national flag )

Teach the word.

Invite some students to draw and say.

Discuss in groups. 让学生模仿各种音调来说单词,加深记忆。
通过多媒体显示“角”,使学生毫不费力的了解了angle这个单词,既扩大了词汇量,又不增加学生学习负担。
