It is a challenge to all interpreters to interpret them well so as to make the audience understand them without the loss of their original beauty at the same time. This thesis will analyze the cultural-embedded expressions, including the ancient Chinese poems and words and expressions with Chinese characteristics. Besides, the strategies used in interpretation, like literal translation, literal translation plus explanation, liberal translation, substitute translation and translation via addition will be studied. At the same time, some inappropriate interpretations, like redundancy, misinterpretations as a result of misunderstanding and unsmoothness will be pointed out and some suggestions will be given as to how to better interpret them. All the examples listed in this thesis are taken from Premier Wen Jiabaos Press Conferences. It is hoped that this thesis will be of useful implications to the future studies and practices in interpretation. Key words: Press Conference, interpreting strategies, culture-rich expressions, expressions with Chinese characteristics, poems 摘要 在每年两会期间召开的记者招待会上，国家领导人经常会引用一些古诗词、谚语、典故等表达方式，它们内涵丰富，中国文化色彩浓厚。如何把它们翻译好，让国内外的媒体理解，又不失原表达的美感，给译员的现场口译工作也提出了很大的挑战。 本论文以温家宝总理的记者招待会为例，重点分析了汉译英口译中的古诗词和具有中国特色的表达方式及口译员现场翻译时所采取的策略，如：直译、直译加解释、意译、增添翻译、替代翻译等。同时，本论文也对一些汉译英口译中出现的赘述、译员不理解导致的误译、译文前后不连贯等问题予以分析，并提
