In this age, people around the world always want to get everything that can profit themselves, but they don’t care about other people. That’s what we need love. It is because of love that we can live in the world, and we do need to love everyone around us and our life. This movie tells us an encouraging story about Gump, and shows us some significative principle, especially love. He loves his mother, and he loves Jenny all the time. He loves the army and he loves his colorful life. That’s the point we need to learn. Key Words: Forrest Gump; love; life; 《阿甘正传》中有关爱在西方文化中作用的研究 摘要：本文给出了有关《阿甘正传》中有关爱的观点，在这个时代，世上的人们都想着得到自己想要的所有事情，却总是不关心周围其他人。这就是我们为什么需要爱。正是因为爱我们才活在这世界上，而且我们真的需要爱我们周围的人，爱我们的生活。这部电影告诉我们一个催人奋进的故事，教给我们许多生活的道理，尤其是爱。阿甘爱他的母亲，爱珍妮，爱他所在的军队和多彩的生活。这就是我们要学习的重点。 关键词 1.Introduction In this term, I chose a course named The Western Culture and Films Appreciating. I would say that it’s very lucky for me to get a chance to study in this class. In the past, I just study English by reading, writing or something like that. But I didn’t really know the cultural background of western countries. So I decided to join in this kind of course.
