;知识准备;为什么用定语从句; 什么是定语从句： 在复合句中，修饰某一名词或代词的从句叫定语从句。其作用是修饰主句中的某一名词或代词，修饰的名词或代词叫先行词，引导定语从句的词叫关系词。 e.g. Do you know the man （who came to see Xiaowang this morning? ）;;1. who指人,作主语或宾语 (作宾语可省略）;3. which 指物，作主语或宾语 (作宾语可省略, 如介词提前则不能省) ;He is the man (that) I told you about.;(1) The scientist is very famous in the world.  We met her yesterday.;5. (whose在从句中指人，作定语) 5. Whose即可指人，也可指物，是所有格，在从句中作定语，可与of which互换。Whose +n =the +n of which/ whom=of which/whom +the +n;6. when指时间，在定语从句中做时间状语 　　(1) I still remember the day when I first came to the school. 　　(2) The time when we got together finally came. 7. where指地点，在定语从句中做地点状语 　　(1) Shanghai is the city where I was born. 　　(2) The house where I lived ten years ago has been pulled down. 8. why指原因，在定语从句中做原因状语 　　(1) Please tell me the reason why you missed the plane. 　　(2) I don’t know the reason why he looks unhappy today.;关系代词（who, whom, which, that，whose）;关系副词（when,where,why）;; ; ; ? that和which在指物的情况下一般都可以互换, 但在下列情况下, 一般用that而不用which。;(5)当先行词为人和物的名词词组时。 They talke of persons and things (that) they remember in the school.
