Abstract：English teaching is not only a process of transferring and exchanging message between teachers and students, but also a process of emotional exchanging between them. In the process of teacher-student interaction, middle school English teachers just using verbal language is not enough if we want to achieve high efficiency of teaching. That is to say, we need to achieve the purpose of exchanging the ideas and conveying the information. This reflects the magical effect of gesture. The sign language, which is vivid and intuitive, is easy to have influence on students.
