Chang , H.C. Chang The study site is located in the northeastern quarried slope of Sin-Chen Shan Quarry of Asia Cement Corporation, Hua 427-330 Lian . The altitude rages between 427–330 m . In 2006, Asia 2006 Cement Greening Team developed an eco-greening bag method to minimize the landscape restoration time for the quarried slope. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effectiveness of the vegetation restoration efforts in the sampling slots for the period of 3-month, 6-month, and one-year. Results showed that 13 species of woody plants and 60 species of herb s restored 75% of the landscape in 3-month 13 60 plots; 11 species of woody plants and 36 species of herbs, 100% 75 coverage in 6-month s plot s; and 8 species of woody plant s 11 36 with an average tree height 2.12 m and 26 herb species in one- 100 1 year plots. Although the number of species for the vegetation 8 26 restoration appears to decrease, the restored vegetation became 100 a secondary forest.
